Course: ITEC 67420 Researching Current Issues in Instructional Technology
The purpose of this project was to explore global learning, design a multicultural and international studies lesson plan, and reflect on technology as a tool in a multicultural educational setting.
This meets NETS-T standard 4, specifically 4d, "Develop and model cultural understanding and global awareness by engaging with colleagues and students of other cultures using digital age communication and collaboration tools" because the lesson plan allows students to study the French culture and language while communicating with their "keypal" via 21st century technology.
